Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Invezt (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and service.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account, we receive your email address and basic profile data from Clerk, our authentication provider.
Application data. Watchlists, saved comparisons, projections, holdings, screening strategies, and alerts you create are stored in our database to operate the service.
Usage data. Standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamps, pages requested) and analytics events. We use these to operate, secure, and improve the service.
Cookies. We use essential cookies for authentication and a passcode-gate cookie if applicable. We do not currently use advertising cookies.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the service
- To send service-related emails (alerts you opt into, account notices)
- To prevent abuse, fraud, and security issues
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Third-party service providers
We share data with vendors that help us operate the service, under contracts that limit their use of the data:
- Clerk — authentication and user management
- Vercel — hosting and serverless functions
- Neon — database hosting
- Third-party market data provider — stock fundamentals, prices, and earnings data (we send tickers; we do not send your account info)
- Resend — transactional email delivery
4. Your rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@invezt.app. You can delete your account from settings, which removes your application data within 30 days.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, opt out of any sale (we do not sell), and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
EU/UK residents (GDPR): You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Our legal basis for processing is contract performance and legitimate interest.
5. Data retention
We retain account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal compliance, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention. Cached market data is retained per its TTL (up to 30 days for transcripts; less for prices).
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures including TLS in transit and encryption at rest via our hosting providers. No system is perfectly secure; you use the service at your own risk.
7. Children
Invezt is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
